Yedi Başak Humanitarian Aid Association launched a tent campaign on January 28, 2024, for people who escaped Israeli attacks and need urgent assistance due to the increasingly adverse weather conditions in recent days. Stating that 50 thousand tents are urgently needed, Yedi Başak Humanitarian Aid Association President Mustafa Bulut announced that they aimed to deliver a thousand tents in the first stage of the tent campaign launched and that 200 tent support came due to the intense interest of the citizens.

Mustafa Bulut, President of Yedi Başak Humanitarian Relief Association, stated that people struggled with the cold weather as well as Israel during the war in Gaza, and said that they started a tent campaign, adding: "Gaza is an exam paper for all humanity. Everyone is faced with what they did and did not do. Cruel Israel has been slaughtering our brothers in Palestine for days. They target hospitals, mosques, schools, ambulances and civilians without distinguishing between women and children. Our brothers in Gaza, Palestine, were displaced from their homes. Currently, the schools and living spaces where they took shelter are being hit. These people are looking for a place to lay their heads. With the arrival of the cold, it is now snowing and sleet in Gaza. These people are looking for a tent to shelter their heads. We, as Yedi Başak Humanitarian Aid Association, started a tent campaign yesterday. We will deliver the tents we purchased from Egypt to our brothers through the Rafah border gate. This campaign is very valuable, I invite everyone to support this campaign. Bulut said, “Israel massacres all people indiscriminately. It destroys underground and aboveground resources and agricultural lands. It hits waterways, condemning people to hunger and thirst. Unfortunately, the people and institutions that have the power to stop this war and this massacre do not stop this massacre. People and institutions who want to stop it do not have the power. Bulut said, “Our people showed great interest in the tent campaign that we called for yesterday. In the first stage, we aimed to send a thousand tents to our brothers in Gaza, and 200 tents were donated within a few hours. We will expand this campaign and bring it to our brothers in Gaza. Our friends we contacted in Gaza said that at least 50 thousand tents were urgently needed. "In this sense, delivering tents is of vital importance in this cold weather," he said.
