Ramadan Operation Across 3 Continents

Yedi Başak Humanitarian Aid Association is launching a comprehensive operation this Ramadan to keep the spirit of mutual aid and solidarity alive. As part of its 2026 Ramadan activities, humanitarian aid will be carried out in more than 24 countries, including Turkey, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, targeting families in need and lacking access to basic food. The aim is to share the joy of Ramadan with millions of people who struggle to maintain a regular diet due to economic conditions and humanitarian crises.

Food Packages and Iftar Organizations

Yedi Başak will distribute food packages door-to-door, prepared taking into account the dietary habits of each region. These packages, consisting of basic food items (oil, sugar, flour, legumes, etc.), are organized to meet a family's needs for a month. In addition, the association will organize communal iftar meals in different regions, distribute food vouchers, and deliver zakat, fitra, and fidyah donations directly to their recipients.

Zakat: The Bridge of Social Solidarity

In this year's campaign, Yedi Başak emphasized the vital role of Zakat in social solidarity, meticulously planning to deliver donors' contributions to those most in need.

Eid Joy for Orphans: 15th of Ramadan World Orphans Day

A special focus was placed on orphans, one of the association's priority areas of work, this Ramadan. As part of the 15th of Ramadan World Orphans Day, a celebration will be organized for children, and their faces will be brightened with Eid clothing donations. The goal is to ensure that orphaned children greet Eid morning peacefully with their new clothes.

Providing information about the activities, Yedi Başak General President Attorney İsmet Yıldırım said... Ismet Yıldırım stated the following:

"The increasing economic difficulties and humanitarian crises worldwide place a greater responsibility on us this Ramadan than ever before. Our aim is not just to deliver a food package, but to strengthen our bonds of brotherhood. When we ask 'Are you fasting?', we are actually intending to spread goodness and empathize with the suffering of the oppressed. Especially with our Zakat efforts, we are determined to build the strongest possible bridge between the wealthy and the needy."
