My Qurban to My Brother: Give Hope to Gaza

As Yedi Basak Humanitarian Relief Organization, we are hitting the road this Eid al-Adha to deliver your qurbans to those in need and to give hope to those waiting for us. As part of our campaign with the slogan “My Qurban to My Brother”, we are bringing the joy of Eid to oppressed geographies in 3 continents and 15 countries.

This year, we are not forgetting Gaza, which is under blockade. We have specially planned our qurban organization for our Gazan brothers and sisters who are struggling to survive under the shadow of bombardments, poverty, and siege. The qurbans, which are slaughtered in accordance with Islamic methods in safe zones, are canned in hygienic facilities and delivered to Gaza. These canned foods, which have a shelf life of approximately two years, provide vital food support for families living in conditions where it is impossible to cook even hot meals. Thanks to this system, the meat of the qurbans is delivered not only on the day of Eid but also in a way that can be consumed for a long time; it brings abundance to tables in Gaza, smiles to children's faces, and hope to mothers' prayers. Each canned food is a concrete reflection of solidarity and the hand of brotherhood that reaches out to a household that is being tested by hunger.
