Yemeni Teacher
PAYLAŞ:
In the Taiz Region of Yemen, Yemeni teacher Adil SERCI's house is in front of 700 students in rows and can't wait to go home and get education.
Adil SERCI said, “When the schools were closed as a result of internal conflicts in Yemen, I could not find the opportunity to send my children to school. And I decided to turn my house, which is under construction and never completed, into a school. In the first year, we enrolled 500 male and female students between the ages of 15 and 16," he said."
Teachers in the surrounding area, who could not work because the schools did not provide services, voluntarily supported this education campaign, which was started with the awareness of social responsibility.
As a result of the compulsory closure of schools, students who want to continue their education pursue their dreams despite the difficulties they experience.
Since the house serves more students than its capacity, students receive their education on the ground due to the lack of tables and desks.
This house, which offers education to children in difficult conditions, calls for teachers' help to provide the necessary educational equipment to provide better quality education.
